One of the best things you can do to protect your child's smile is also one of the easiest!

Sunshine Community Health Center's Dental Department is excited to provide FREE dental sealants for children during our 5th Annual Community Celebration on August 1st. Dental sealants are a thin protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth, helping prevent cavities before they start. In fact, sealants can reduce the risk of decay in molars by creating a barrier that keeps food particles and bacteria out of the tiny grooves where toothbrushes often can't reach.

By preventing cavities today, dental sealants can help support a lifetime of better oral health, fewer dental procedures, less discomfort, and lower dental costs down the road.
