Sunshine Community Health Center joined KTNA once again for its monthly Su Valley Voice community check-in, this time focusing on the important topic of Women’s Health. Hosted by Trisha Costello, the May episode brought together healthcare providers and clinic staff to share conversations, education, and resources centered around supporting women at every stage of life.
Joining Trisha in the KTNA studio were Jenelle Johnson, Physician Assistant, and Abbey Bradley, BSN, IBCLC Family Care Manager. Together, they discussed a variety of women’s health topics, the importance of preventative care, and how Sunshine CHC continues working to improve access to healthcare services throughout the region.
Listeners also heard from several Sunshine CHC staff members through special audio contributions, including Allegany Twigg, Community Relations Assistant, Ronni Spaulding, Executive Assistant, and additional staff voices from Gina, MacKenzie, and Jennifer. Their contributions helped bring a personal and community-centered perspective to the discussion.
The episode also included updates from Sunshine Community Health Center, ongoing clinic news, and information about available services and support for patients across the communities Sunshine serves.
Sunshine Community Health Center remains committed to providing compassionate, community-driven healthcare rooted in the strength and resilience of rural Alaska.
