KTNA Su-Valley Voice || March 2026

Sunshine Community Health Center recently joined KTNA’s Su Valley Voice for our monthly check-in with listeners across the Valley. These conversations are an opportunity to share updates on services, highlight upcoming events, and most importantly—talk about the health topics that matter most to our community.

This month, the focus was on colorectal cancer screening, a critical preventive measure that can truly save lives.

🎙️ Voices from Sunshine CHC

Joining the discussion in the studio:

  • Coree McCabe, Nurse Supervisor

  • Sierra Winter, Communications Director

  • Ronni Spaulding, Executive Assistant

  • Issa Wight, Human Resources Coordinator

We also featured audio contributions from Sunshine CHC clinic staff, bringing in additional perspectives from those working directly with patients every day.

Together, the team shared insights into the importance of screening, what patients can expect, and how Sunshine CHC is making preventive care more accessible in our communities.

🩺 Why Colorectal Cancer Screening Matters

Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when detected early. Screening can identify precancerous changes before they develop into something more serious.

If you are 45 or older—or at higher risk—now is the time to schedule your screening.

Early detection doesn’t just improve outcomes—it saves lives.

📅 March Screening Special

To support community members in taking this important step, Sunshine CHC is offering a Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Screening Special throughout March.
